Removed World of Warcraft Forums, and pictures, began work on Armies web pages, will likely change the name of them.

Began work on the World of Warcraft pages, and continued work on the recent post links in the Home Page. I Fixed the problem with Forum Subscriptions in terms of the links not working, and the error that it ignored E-mail preference in the user options. -KotN |

Fixed Attachments and Text Size of Signatures. |

I Fixed the location of Attached files so they appear at the top of the post in a nice gray box so you can see them.
Before they appeared under the avatar and it was hard to notice there was one. In learning how to move it I discovered all
sorts of fun stuff as to how the page is put together. The small change of file attachment was actually really large
when you understand how the page is put together. I also shrunk the text for signatures, I saw that on another Forum page and it made
sense immediately why we should do it. I still haven't got much from you as for content, any help as for pages that would be funny would be a great help. -KotN |

Experienced Errors, Edited Error Page |

The website was down quite a bit the last few days, my provider experienced some technical difficulty after a thunderstorm.
You may have gotten an error about the username and password. I changed the Error result to a page that explains what is going on
and shows you are still in King of the Nerds. Brings up an interesting question as to if I want to tie in the main page with
the database?

started working on the main page, I added a random photo
generator, that will link eventually to a gallery, for now, enjoy the
random pic... I also want to add a display of the most recent
posts, similar to what we had at the bottom of the old forum.
After that I'm going to write up some articles about how great it is to
be a nerd... Something like what you see about ninjas on Real Ultimate Power. This is the best site ever! It made me want to Flip out! -KotN |

If you
are a returning user, you should have received a Password in your
E-mail account. Use that password to login and then use the
user options button on the top to change your password to something
you'll remember As you can tell, the site is in the process of being massively redone. I have lost my patience with PHP nuke, although I'm sure it has its uses, it just isn't as customizable as I would like. The main PHP Nuke, has a host of features we don't use that were integrated into features I needed to change, it was far too much work to make minor changes. As the point of this site was to communicate, and teach me PHP, Nuke just wasn't the best tool. I have switched to a smaller forum system. This system is called tforum, it has more options for forums we want, and we brings back the Private message options. It allows you to subscribe to topics, sending you an e-mail when someone posts. Once you subscribe you don't have to keep checking, you'll just get a simple e-mail when someone posts. Other benefits include Polls, Pictures, and the pages load faster. You will find all the old posts in the Archive section. They will be altered slightly, as the forum interprets them slightly different. It was tons of work to get them accessible, and I morn the loss of some of the photos, but in the end, I think the final result is worth it. I have had to do a lot of work to transfer this. But I think it will be worth it. I've already redone sections of the forum to fit my needs. Things are going quite well. Some Changes include the background color, the links, at the top. The default page of the forum, and adding in the capability to have a integrated main page. I still have a great deal of work to do... If any of you is interested in becoming a moderator, please let me know. I could use someone to clean up the errors created in transfer, and someone to move and adjust topics.
